CONCERT & SYMPHONIC BANDS

In mid-January, the Competitive Band program transitions into three ensembles: Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and the by-audition Wind Ensemble.

The Westview GOLD Concert and Symphonic Bands are recognized for their tradition of excellence, consistently earning Superior and Unanimous Superior ratings at festivals, including in sight-reading performances. Students perform a diverse range of challenging repertoire, including selections often reserved for collegiate ensembles.

 

Concert Band is designed for 9th grade students, while Symphonic Band is open to students in grades 10–12. No audition is required. Interested students may simply enroll in the class.
