The heart of many GOLD programs, including coaching, competitive field show participation and the Solo and Ensemble festival, just wouldn't be possible without our families' financial support. Open Donation
PUSD District Funding
The PUSD fund provides for facility and equipment needs such as band room speakers, music cabinets and classroom equipment. The fund is granted annually from the school district.
Associated Student Body Fund
The ASB fund provides for festival entry fees, guest conductors, sheet music, field show expenses and instrument purchases.
ASB funds are generated through parent donations, student led fundraisers, the GOLD marching band tournament and GOLD SHOW concert ticket sales.
Coaching Fund
The Coaching fund provides section coaching for all instruments in all groups, including competitive and non-competitive band, orchestra and colorguard.
This fund, made of exclusively parent donations, sets GOLD apart from other schools by providing a high level of music instruction excellence to GOLD members. Donations to this fund are tax-deductible.
GOLD Camp Fund
The Camp Fund covers the cost of GOLD Camp, open to all members of the program. Costs include instruction outside of school year, facilities costs and food for camp participants.
