ACADEMIC CURRICULUM
Westview GOLD provides a comprehensive music education curriculum as detailed in the syllabus and handbook.
Students will complete their grade-level proficiencies through regular testing throughout the 3rd and 4th quarters. Memorization is required for 10th through 12th grade proficiences. 9th graders are highly encouraged to memorize their proficiency tests, but this is not required.
Students new to their instruments will complete the 9th grade proficiences.
